So....
I was just evesdropping on my host sister as she talks on the phone with her friend in the room adjacent to mine and she said "blah blah blah era un chupamedias!"
For those who don't know: chupamedias literally means a "sock-sucker" but as I learned in my spanish class the other day, they use it here the way we use "brown-noser."
I just LOVE hearing in real life the things I learn in class! It's so motivating and now I want to try using the word myself. Just love this study abroad stuff....
